This urn features a Russian blue kitty named Sophie. Sophie's parents inherited her from their daughter when she moved into an apartment that didn't allow pets. Sophie was left in their safekeeping until such time as their daughter could provide room and board again. That never happened.
Sophie was the epitome of curiosity. Her parents have a photo of her halfway up a Christmas tree. She seems to be looking upward for the path to the top. She had a high opinion of herself and knew she deserved the softest seat in the house. Other animals were considered beneath her. She was a Russian Blue who considered herself royalty. She was partial to her mom, could surprise her with affection and liked to be within a paw's length of her, so she could reach out and touch her mom's leg or jump into her lap. Sophie was not much different from any other cat who liked to be inside almost anything from a Halloween candy bowl to a shopping bag. If neither of those was handy, crawling under a blanket might work just as well. If she was out of sight, those were the places her parents would look for her.
Sophie's urn features her on a cushion on a chaise lounge next to her mom. Her mom has just come home from shopping, and Sophie can't wait to get in the bag when it's empty. But for now, she's content to be fed all the delicious items on the walnut table next to the chaise lounge. There's a potted plant with blooms as well as ham, chicken, and even canned and dry cat food, which is really more suitable for William, her step brother cat, who is beneath her level. The human food is more suitable for Sophie.
