Dolly came from a Lab rescue organization. Unfortunately, she was only with us a few months before we found out she had cancer. Poor Dolly was just starting to be comfortable and feel a part of the family. She got along well with Maddie, also a yellow Lab from the same rescue organization. Maddie's mom, Suzie, had died, and shortly after, we brought Dolly home, so Maddie would have company during the day. Dolly lived a month after her diagnosis and was on medication during that time. When she stopped eating, we knew it was time to let her go.
This dog urn features Dolly sitting in front of two park benches. Behind the benches is a flowering spring tree; some of the petals have fallen and are scattered around the dog and benches. Dolly is waiting to play ball, or maybe she's resting after playing ball. A small white bird appears to be landing on the corner of one of the benches. There are glittering hearts in the four corners and a dog biscuit and two dog paws on the front of the base. The overall dimensions of this urn are 8" x 6.5" x 14" (length x width x height). The interior dimensions of the box are 8" x 6.5" x 3". Click on the image to see the interior of the urn.
